Monday, June 22nd, I took a trip with my Mom to the DMV, and took my permit test. Let me tell you, it was hard. I read the book in 2 days, and passed the test the 1st time. mmmmmmmmmmhmmm...the FIRST time. Haha..It was so exciting. I had so much fun taking my picture for the permit, and was so proud of myself. Here are some pictures, and maybe a movie to folllow. So for all of you who THINK I will be bad, I AM NOT! I am pretty decent...until today a drangonfly flew into the car, that was interesting. Remember..bug comes in, BRAKE. Not gas! :) So, here are some driving tips that I thought you all would love from my experience:
- Don't cross yellow lines while taking a turn...you might end up in the wrong lane
- You have to hit the gas a little while going uphill...or you might not make it
- Don't confuse the brake and the gas pedal...it might lead to almost hitting garages, cars, or trash cans
- Don't stop in the middle of a round about
- People are mean when they feel you are going too slow
- You have to ease your way into a stop, not slam on the brake and give everyone whiplash
- Don't ride with the windows down, bugs might get in the car, and you might loose control
- Always use your signals!
