Driving..Wow

Monday, June 22nd, I took a trip with my Mom to the DMV, and took my permit test. Let me tell you, it was hard. I read the book in 2 days, and passed the test the 1st time. mmmmmmmmmmhmmm...the FIRST time. Haha..It was so exciting. I had so much fun taking my picture for the permit, and was so proud of myself. Here are some pictures, and maybe a movie to folllow. So for all of you who THINK I will be bad, I AM NOT! I am pretty decent...until today a drangonfly flew into the car, that was interesting. Remember..bug comes in, BRAKE. Not gas! :) So, here are some driving tips that I thought you all would love from my experience:

Don't cross yellow lines while taking a turn...you might end up in the wrong lane
You have to hit the gas a little while going uphill...or you might not make it
Don't confuse the brake and the gas pedal...it might lead to almost hitting garages, cars, or trash cans
Don't stop in the middle of a round about
People are mean when they feel you are going too slow
You have to ease your way into a stop, not slam on the brake and give everyone whiplash
Don't ride with the windows down, bugs might get in the car, and you might loose control
Always use your signals!

How Bout Them Jazz!?!?!?

UTAH UTAH! Thats all I could say to my Laker fans out there. But what can I say! I am SO excited that the Jazz pulled out with a win last night. I cannot believe they pulled it off. But how did they do it?

Boozer. Boozer is a beast. The rebounds, the points, Amazing!
Williams. He might of missed some foul shots, but the last shot of the game was a killer.
The dunks. The dunks were absolutely unstoppable.
Linko. His speed and determination was awesome.

I know that all you Laker Fans just wanna go and cry, so go ahead. It was sorry that you lost to the Utah Jazz. I can't wait to see what happens Saturday!

For all those Laker Fans who think you never lose, now you know what it feels like...and of all teams, the Jazz came out on top.

What to do...what to do...

Okay..so tomorrow is Sunday, and I am not sure what to do, cause football season is OVER! What else am I supposed to do on Sundays? Sure I should probably read my scriptures, do service...but FOOTBALL! Oh sweet sweet football. I think I might end up resorting to watching re-runs of games that Dallas actually won! Ha ha. Any suggestions?

Valentine's Day

Hello everybody. I have just been thinking about Valentine's Day. And I think it is stupid. Why celebrate love? Shouldn't you celebrate this everyday? I get so frustrated with immature teenagers going out and buying each other gifts. Too many girls cry over not having a valentine...blah blah blah. It is a stupid holiday, and I think that it should be scratched from society...so ya!

This is one of my lines in Act 1 of Seussical the Musical. I am so excited to announce that I got the part of Gertrude McFuzz in my school's production of Seussical the Musical. I went through a lot of drama...and persecution to get this part, but I am SO glad I got it. Here is an overview of what my character is like:

GERTRUDE McFUZZ is very self-conscious and aware that her one-feather tail isn’t perfect. Gertrude is so incredibly in love with Horton the Elephant, but she thinks he doesn't notice her because of her one feathered tail. Gertrude changes during the show from a neurotic, nervous and shy bird into one with the power to protect and care for a baby elephant bird and commit herself to Horton. In other words, she stops worrying about her looks and grows up.

Win and In...But Not In :(

Okay, so Sunday was Cowboys vs. Eagles, and it was for the last playoff spot, so all the team had to do was win, and they were in. Now, obviously Dallas just looked terrible.

The final score: 44 to 6

However, I just look at this incident as a test of my loyalty to the Cowboys. After being almost certain that we would make it to the playoffs, this game was a shocker to my family. And the worst part? Seeing so many Dallas fans turn on them. What is the point of going for a team if you are going to abandon them when they loose? This was my thought exactly. So, yes, even though we lost, and no longer have a chance at going to the superbowl, this has been my quote:

"We have the talent, we just didn't have it together Sunday. However, we will suck it up, move on, and be back next year!"

Blonde, or Red?

Okay! So as you all know, I do admit to having red hair in the past! However, I have also had blonde hair in the past, and now do in the present. But which one do you like?

Its Beginning to Look A lot like Christmas?

Not in my house! Our Christmas tree is still not up, and here it is December 13th. Whatever will we do? Well maybe now that I have said something about it, I will have motivated my parents to put up our decorations.

Tony the Homo? Think Again...

This story was recently posted on the internet and news, and so the next time any of you call Tony Romo a homo, think of this story:

A homeless man who goes by Doc was cashing in change at a Cinemark Theatre in Dallas when a guy walked up and offered to pay his way into the movie. He planned to spend his day passing out fliers and accepted a rain check before realizing that he recognized the generous gentleman.

"Was that Tony Romo?" Doc asked the worker behind the counter.
It sure was. Doc, who requested that his real name not be used, hustled across the street to the consignment store that paid him to occasionally pass out fliers and requested the day off. By the time he got back to the theater, Role Model had already started.

Romo, who confirmed the story but didn't want to elaborate, waved Doc over to sit by him and his friend. Doc sheepishly mentioned that he hadn't showered in a few days.

"Don't worry about that," Romo said. "I'm used to locker rooms."

And so the $67 million quarterback and a man who doesn't have $6.70 to his name sat next to each other and shared laughs for 90 minutes or so.

For Romo – who made news by changing a couple's tire on a roadside on the way home the night of the season opener – it was just another kind gesture to a random stranger. It meant the world to Doc.

"For me, it was a blessing," Doc said. "It came at just the right time. It gave me some encouragement and faith in mankind. I just wanted to say thank you."

Talent Show

The 'Boys Come On Out Top

It looks like DALLAS came out on top tonight! Shocker! We won...we won...we won!!!!
But how did we do it?

Well,

Tony Romo threw a pass for a touchdown to number 80, Bennet for a touchdown pass.
Marion Barber ran a total of 114 yards....that awesome!!!!
Romo threw the shuffle pass to Miles Austin, number 19.
Marion Barber made a first down in the last minute of the game, which gave us our win
Tony only threw 1 interception, and it was at the beginning of the game!

Yea Cowboys!

...is what I first said when I dyed my hair and it turned bright red. But how do you know you've got it? Well, I can tell you, I didn't have it. I am talking little mermaid red. I was very supsrised by the outcome...and I am glad I do now have a little bit of a better color on my head. So, all in all...if you've got it, flaunt it!

Hi Everyone! So this week at school, solo tryouts were held for our Disney Concert. The song that I chose to audition for was, "That's How You Know," from Disney's, "Enchanted." To my delight, I was picked to sing the song. I am so excited for the concert. I will get to dress up as Giselle, as it is our Halloween Concert of the year. If anyone would like to come see it, then call me for details. This concert will be great for kids of all ages, as it is totally and completly Disney Music! Can't wait!

I LOVE Hannah Montana! I love the show, and the music!
I HATE library fines. They are such a pain and a waste of money!
I LOVE Seminary: It is a great class, and a fun way to learn about Church!
I HATE getting up at 5:30 every morning for it! Talk about loss of sleep!
I LOVE cover-up/make-up! It is great for covering up faults in your face! (especially coldsores!) :-)
I HATE over-priced stores! There's nothing worse then finding the most awesome thing and then it being like four times the price it should be!
I LOVE shoes! Who doesn't love to get a new pair shoes every week?
I HATE homework! Who wants to do more school stuff right after school!?!?!?
I LOVE wireless microphones! Who would hate them!?!?! (JK Mom) ;)
I HATE traffic! Who wants to sit in the same spot on the road?
I LOVE slurpees! Every time I go somewhere where they sell slurpees, that is a $1.80 out of my pocket!
I HATE cats! I think they are scary, and not nice!
I LOVE football, especially the Dallas Cowboys! It is fun to rub it into peoples face when their favorite team loses. And for a "girly girl" I love football!
I HATE lotion. Call me crazy, but I think its greasy, oily, and disgusting!

Chain Reaction

Hey Guys.

Today at school we recognized Rachel Scott, the first student killed in the Columbine Shooting of 1999. We had an entire assembly dedicated to Rachel. Rachel was such an inspiration to everyone around her, and is now an inspirtation to me. We heard from her Family, and gained an in-depth knowledge of the tradegy. These videos really moved me. (Yea....who would have thought I would have cried through an entire school assembly with guys surrounding me) :-) Anyways, one thing that I did get out the assembly is an appreciation for my life, family, and friends. One thing that I decided to do for me is to accept Rachel's challenge. I invite you guys to accept it too. Here is the challenge:

Dinner with the Marlers

Dodgeball

Hi!!!!!!!

Ok. So for YW's on Tuesday, we played dodgeball with the Young Men. Ok....so here are some things I learned:

Don't think that just because they might be your leaders, they won't chuck the ball at you

Make sure to catch people when they cheat, cause' they will try it on you

Aim, duck, and cover.....

Throwing the ball right into the opponents arms is NOT a good thing

When your holding a baby on the sideline, cover her face

Even soft balls hurt when thrown at the face

Well, this was my first time playing a real game of dodgeball, and as many of you know, I am SO not a sports person. (it took me a little time to figure out how to play, and the rules) :-)

Overall though, it was pretty fun! (except the whole coming home with like 50 bruises thing) :-)

A Day At the Office

Hey!

Today I am at work with my Mom since Mike and Dad are at scout camp! I am having a really good time! I got to have a milky way chocochino and am about to go have another one! I organized Jenna's filing cabinet! It was a LOT of work! I had to organize EVERY letter of the alphabet in ABC order, and then go through each letter and organize the A's in ABC order, then the B's in ABC order, and so on! But it was fun! I got mini donuts for breakfast and Jenna is bringing back lunch! I am STARVING right now! ;) I had to get up at 5 AM with my Mom to be able to come today! I only have two hours of the day left! Then Mom and I am going to go have G.N.O. part 2! Can't wait! Talk to ya soon!

Santizo's Arrive!!!!!

Bonjour! Guess What!?!?! The Santizo's have just moved to Utah from Maryland! It is so great! They even found a house in Eagle Mountain that is just belle! (thats french for beautiful! ;) We are so glad to have them out here! We finally got them moved in and everything! They finally got to get rid of this aweful penske truck! JUST KIDDING! Well, can't wait for you to meet them! They are just absolutely fabulous!

Mom and Dad's Anniversary

Howdy! Mom and Dad's anniversary is today and so far we have had a great day! Mike and I suprised Mom and Dad with a build a bear puppy with roses and a t-shirt that says,, "Happy Annibearsary!" His name is Peeka Boo! We love him! He is our new Family pet! We also got them a balloon and cards with which one of them had a visa in it to go spend on their anniversary date night! It was great! You should have seen the look on their faces! :-) Anyways, they are going out to dinner tonight and are going to have fun! So are Mike and I! Well, ttyl!

Fourth of July

Hey! Fourth of July was great! We had a BBQ with all of our family, and then we went home to rest for a while! Then, we went to the Hotton's house for fireworks! They set them off in their driveway! It was a blast! Plus, Ruthanne made homemade donuts! They were yummy! Mike brought everyone glow sticks, and then we went to the Church hill top to watch fireworks from all the different cities! That's how good the view was! Auntie Jenna came with her family too! It was a really great day!

Girls Camp

I recently went to Girls camp for the first time...it was so fun! I was so cold the first night! I had 5 blankets but was still freezing! Dad and Mike came up the last night and I swore we were going to be eaten by bears or mountain lions! ;) Anyways, it was a blast! We had a water balloon fight one day, a treasure hunt one day, a faith walk one day, and much much more! We even gathered round the campfire to sing the "Campfire Song!" (from Spongebob)

I have had some pretty wild times these past few weeks. Well, in choir, we are doing a number with the boys. Well, we are doing "We Go Together" from the musical Grease. It is awesome. We got paired with a guy and one of my Best Friends, Kembree Buker, told my choir teacher I liked this guy in my choir class, so Ms. Nudd paired us together. It is my dream come true. Well, anyways, I can't wait! Mom is making me a purple polka dot poodle skirt. Well, I am going to watch the Jazz game! See ya!

My Birthday

Howdy! I am now 14. I had an awesome birthday. My birthday is March 22nd. It was so fun. I went shopping at American Fork, Provo, and West Jordan. We had lunch at the Golden Corral, and we had a blast. I shopped til I dropped. Plus, my Auntie Carole came from Maryland. We had so much fun with her. I miss her already. Mission Possible

Hannah Montana

Ok. So everyone knows I LOVE Hannah Montana! I love her show, her music, and her personality. I hope one day I will get to meet her! I went to her concert, and it was the best concert I have been to! After watching Miley perform as Hannah, it has inspired me to follow my dreams and become a singer. I would love to perform on tour. I sing everyday, and continue to sing so I can reach my dreams! Solo and Ensemble Results

Hi guys! Today was the solo and ensemble festival. I got my results. After practicing hard for a couple of weeks, I scored a 1. In the festival, you are scored from 1-5, 1 being the best that you can get! A 1 is like an A, and a 5 is like a F. In other words, I did GREAT! YEAH!!!!!! This was such a relief to me. I don't like being judged, but I guess the judge liked it!

Solo and Ensemble

Hello everybody! Tomorrow I have the Solo and Ensemble festival. I am so nervous because I have to perform for judges. I think it will be fun though. Afterward, we get to go to Jordan Landing to hang out! YES! SHOPPING SPREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My awesome choir teacher, Ms. Nudd (in the picture with me) has taught me very well. She is awesome and I love her! Well, hopefully I do well tomorrow. I am going to go get some sleep so I will feel good tomorrow morning!

I think my favorite class is french, and choir. Geometry is my least favorite. Today in geometry we had a sub, and me and my friend Bailee just had a blast, since we really didn't have to do much.

Tonight we have Young Womens, and I can't wait! My Mom is an awesome YW's president! I also love Krista, baby Evie, Annie, Stephanie, Carrie, Carissa, and Candace! They are awesome leaders!

I am also reading the Book of Mormon in 90 days along with the ward. Hopefully I can keep up! Well, goodbye for now!

Annie

The sun will come out tomorrow! This is a famous line from Annie. I recently participated in my school's production of Annie. I got the honor to play the part of Annie. It was an awesome experience. I was very nervous to get this part, but very excited. I didn't think I would get a lead part in a musical in a new school. It was an amazing experience. The funniest part was I had to work with a live german shepard dog. This scared the crap out of me! I am scared of dogs, and this was a huge challenge for me. Luckily, I made it. However, the first show was kind of funny. The dog ran off stage, and I had to go after it! Not to mention, it was a live performance! LOL! Overall, it was an experience of a lifetime! :-)

President's Day

Howdy ya'll! President's day was a blast! I went bowling with my Family, which was loads of fun! I bowled a 86! That was with bumpers and everything. As you can see I am a beast at bowling. :-) After that, we went to a pizza buffet and I made myself sick to my stomach, but it was totally worth it! LOL! At the pizza place, we had lots of fun! We played a racing game at the arcade along with air hockey and pool! I didn't even know how to hold the stick. It was hilarious. Then we came home and chilled! Hail to the chief! :-)

Moving Across the Country!

Hey! What's up? Lucky for me, I just recently moved across the country from Maryland to Utah. Oh the joy of moving! It was a pretty interesting ride! However, I moved for the best! I moved out to Utah gaining a huge house, great friends, and awesome Family. It was hard leaving so much behind, like my home, friends, and great Family, that I so dearly miss! I thought I would never get over it, but I have, and I have moved on to bigger and better things. I realized that life has many twists and turns, but sometimes they are for the better!
